Our Story
El Chato started as a food cart on a corner in Williamsburg. No frills. No reservations. Just a comal, a knife, and the same recipes that have been feeding Mexico City for generations.
Our meats are slow-cooked every morning. Our tortillas are pressed by hand, every hour. We source directly from Mexican farmers wherever possible, and we never, ever compromise on the salsa.
